Lose it for Life

From time to time, we’ll be letting you know about other ministries around the South Bay that invite us to join them.  One of the things I love about serving in the South Bay is the culture among churches that is evolving around “sharing our toys.”    Let’s face it, we can’t all be all things to all people, so why not try and share!
So.. that brings me to something that our sisters at Rolling Hills Covenant have invited us to be a part of.   All of us have either struggled ourselves or been close to someone who has struggled with weight issues.  Lose it for Life is program that incorporates biblical standards (not the world’s standards) to these challenges.  The class format is designed to be interactive to to build relationships and not go it alone as many of us try to do.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email Julie Davidge at JADavidge@aol.com.  As with all things out there… there may be things you don’t agree with.  It’s hard to find the perfect “program” or book or anything for that matter.  What we do know is that only Jesus and His Word are perfect, so as with anything else, be a berean and be discerning!
