Details are being ironed out for the Fall women’s Bible studies at KHC. As usual, we will be offering Wednesday morning studies (The Inheritance by Beth Moore) and Thursday morning (Isaiah). As our church has grown, there has been an increase in need for evening studies. A few good women have stepped up to the plate and are going to be opening their homes up for evening studies. These are perfect for working women and moms who can’t get away during the day. Please keep your eye on the bulletin and on this blog for up to date information.
For now, Joan Capps is beginning a study on Becoming a Woman of Faith, Tuesday nights for 12 weeks. This Bible study will begin on Tuesday, September 1st and space is limited. Please contact Joan at Joan@cappsnet.com to sign up or get on her waiting list that she faithfully attends to!
Also, we are making a change with Women’s Discipleship Community. In an effort to streamline the growing the need for equipping one another, fellowship with women, Bible study, etc… we are going to merge WDC and Monday Night Live to some monthly gatherings for women on Monday nights. Every month, beginning in September, you will have the opportunity to gather with women at King’s Harbor Church. Some months we’ll have Bible study, some will be what’s become one of my favorite gatherings, “Welcome,” where we invite women who are new or not yet plugged in to meet some of our longer attending members. Our first Bible study will be Monday, September 28th and we’ll have another in November. Welcome will be in October and our Monday Night Live Christmas gathering in December. Here’s what you can expect from Bible study: worship, community, encouragement and equipping through interactive Bible study. Each week there will be a teaching as well as some take home work for you to do over the following weeks.
Hope you enjoy the remaining weeks of summer!
In His Joy,
