Moms In Touch International Area Event

Mom’s In Touch International is hosting an area event on Saturday, March 26th from 9-12 at Rolling Hills Covenant Church.

Join other moms praying for children and schools.  Brunch will be served during a time of fellowship and prayer for our schools and cities.  This is also a great opportunity to explore ministry opportunities through Mom’s In Touch International and see how you can gather other moms at your school site or in your home school community to pray God’s Word over your children.

For more information on this event, please contact Judy Ruiz at 310-543-1864 or

  1. I have been in Moms In Touch International for 20 years, praying for my two children 1 hour a week at a Mom’s home. I can tell you as a Mom of a 22 and 26 yr old, this has been one of the MOST important things I have done and still do for my children!

I have seen so many answers to prayers from perhaps little things like:”Please help us find a pretty graduation dress for my daughter, to: ” Please get my child through this hard season in their life, give them Christian friends, and help me to have the wisdom when to speak and when to hold my tongue”

Moms In touch has taught me how to effectively pray using the 4 steps of prayer: Praise, Silent Confession, Thanksgiving, and Intercession in a small group of 2-3 Moms. The great thing about going to a Moms in Touch meeting is we do not talk about our prayers we come in, pary right away, and stop after 1 hour.

It has become a regular vital part of my week.
In Moms In touch, each group prays for their children with other Moms from that specific school her kids attend. When my kids were in elementary school, we would pray about the bullies on the play ground, God to select the next grade teacher for our child, to give us Moms wisdom with teary homework sessions.

In Junior and Senior High our prayers switch to “Lord, give them a good peer group, keep them from drugs and alcohol, keep them safe in sports.”

As well as praying for your children, we pray for the teachers and staff, and school concerns like safety from violence, bombs and that God will help catch drug dealers.

Now I am in a Moms In Touch group for college/ career. Again our prayers change to
” Help our children make wise choices now they are away in college, not at home under our roof, bless them with a good Job, bring them a Christian to date and marry.

I will next, “Graduate” to the “Grandmas in Touch” group! When my husband asks “How long are you going to be in Moms In Touch, I reply: Forever; until God takes me home!!

My prayer is that you Moms consider carving out 1 hour each week to pray in a Moms In Touch group. If you work outside the home, find another Mom on the job who you can pray with one lunch hour/week, or a night time Moms In Touch group. Go to the website, put in the name of your child’s school under group locator, and get hooked in. You won’t regret it!
